time flies

so I haven't posted in awhile cause I've been busy, a tad bit lazy and just not sure what to post. I'm headed home and quite pleased with myself, I packed my whole home entertainment system in my car!

birthdays and friends

so yesterday was a good day, a few of us from the BSM went and did some work for this lady. it was fun and turned out good. then I went to a restaurant with Brandon and we met up with Lori and Allie for her first legal drink. that was fun. trace met us and we continued our fun at an Irish pub a block down. it was a good night.

networking and anger

so I contacted a friend of my BSM director who works in San Antonio to see if he knew anyone hireing or anything like that. hopefully I'll hear from him in a day or so. I txted devin and she continues to treat me with anger and disrespect and it's getting harder and harder to be strong and be kind towards her. I pray that she understands I'm sorry for the situation and that I'm here for her and I still love her and I'm going to take care of her.

Corn Maze and Beginning to repair.

So I went to the corn maze with Brandon, Jacob and two of their friends from Hobbs. It was a fantastic time. We then went and played the game of What? It's like apples to apples but you fill in your answer and it's better in my book. Devin and I are slowly talking again she told me that if I wanted to talk to her then it would be best to txt her. So we agreed that we can be civil and that we can start repairing our friendship and start talking again. There you have it, the beginning to repair of a friendship for our future.

Class and bible study

So I went to class today and it was easy. I then had bible study at my place. It was good. I've got a BSM work day on Saturday. I definitely need some prayer. It's all getting tougher.

Letter and sonic

So I wrote a letter to devin's parents and I put it in the mail today. I also went to sonic and I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and asked for the lettuce and tomato off but they decided to give me a chicken sandwich with mayo and nothing else. Grrrrrrrrr

Late night and twitter

So I had a good night with Brandon, we met up with trace, bucky and his wife. Had a nice dinner. I remembered my twitter account: bobbo0889. So find me there as well. All for now!

Phone call and music

So I was able to chat with Devin today. We talked a little about things we needed to talk about. Things are not better but they on their way to being better with her and I. I'm gonna apologize to her parents when she sets things up for it. There is a chance I'll be able to move to San Antonio in the spring to be closer to her. So yea. Its all in Gods hands the stuff I can't control. I'm one step further into my Babylon and God will deliver me when He is ready to, not when I am ready for him to deliver me through this.

Unexpected news and Babylons

Psalms 119:105 says that his light is there to guide my path but only lights what is around me not what is far ahead of me.

And Jeremiah 29:11 says that God knows what's ahead of me and he will take care of me. In context it says that we will have to go through a "babylon" before he will truly deliver us from pain and suffering.

My Babylon is coming and he will deliver me from it. He will teach me something along the way. But I know I will get through it and will be stronger in the end.
My friends and family are here for me and with their help I will get through it but it is ultimately God's help that will get me through my Babylon.
I have and will continue to give the stuff that is out of my control, to God.

Audio 2 and stargate universe

So today was a pretty good day. I went to class, got out of class, went to bible study and now I'm watching stargate universe. I did agree to a date in march when my friend Rachel gets back from Germany. If she gets back before then we have an earlier date. I'm kinda excited about that but I've got awhile before it happens. So I believe that is all for now.

Cereal and house

So tonight I'm going bowling with the buds and ladies. It's gonna be fun! That's all for now.

Recliner and psych

So yesterday I bought a recliner for my apartment and I moved the furniture to make it all fit. Today is Wednesday, you know what that means, on campus worship! I might be going bowling this weekend. It's all dependent on money and who all is going.

Chainsaw and bestbuy

So today was a good day. I worked the BSM work day today. Me and cinto cut down a tree today and later Brandon and I are going to Lubbock to get me a few electronics from bestbuy. That's about it. A simple day today, maybe chill with Brandon afterwords.

Birthday.

So it was definitely the greatest birthday ever! I had quite a few drinks tonight but that's ok. It was fun and I didn't drive at all. I am missing someone but that's ok. I am going to sleep so well

Reading and Ends

So today was a tough day, I ended things with devin cause there was problems. She didn't think we could fix things so she wasn't trying. There was no communication between both of us and if there is no communication there is no relationship. It hurts but I had to. I love her but there is no future like I thought there was. I also found out this weekend that my grandmother has brain cancer and that it is a rare form of cancer and it is terminal. So keep my family in ur prayers please.

9/11 and Richard Pryor

So today is the 9th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I am grateful to be in this country. So devin and I are in a rough spot. She told me that when I visited her she didn't feel the spark or passion in our relationship. We agreed that we are gonna try to fix it but after she leaves if we aren't fixed.....that will be the last time we are a couple. I'm worried but I know God is in control so at the same time I'm not. I love her very much. So keep us in your prayers. Now it is the 12th. And in 8 days I will have my 21st birthday. I'm excited cause a few of my buddies and I will go and have my first drink together. So I'm excited. That is all for now. I'll keep you updated.

137n and machine gun Kelly

So I had a wonderful weekend with Devin. We went to buffalo wild wings as an early birthday date and then I got to spend as much time as I could with her. She had to work some but that's ok. We still had fun. I traveled back Monday. And I had classes today and tomorrow there is OnCampus BSM worship. I'm not gonna lie. Devin has been acting a bit strange today (Tuesday) I'm hoping it's nothing. But still I'm a little bit worried. That's why I'm up late. Good thing I don't have a busy day tomorrow. Lol but I'm still a bit worried cause I'm a worry wart. I'll find out soon enough about whatever it is. I am starting to fall in love with her :)

Patch bay and asphault

So I just got done with my first week of classes. I'm am packing up to go see devin. It is going to be a very long drive but the destination is worth the distance. I'm going to spend labor day weekend with her and her family. I'm excited to see her!!!! She has a few things planned for us, so I'm anxious to see what she has planned.

Ramen and suspense

So today was a good day, I went to the bsm leadership training thingy and it was good, but long. We got a lot done of what needed to get done but it was a good day. Tomorrow is the first day of class and the first day of 50¢ lunches and we are helping with the schools welcome week thingy. Then an open mic night on Tuesday and first night of OnCampus worship. I'm excited!!!! It's gonna be great. I miss devin but I am one day closer to seeing her. I gotta take care of a few things before I can travel down to see her on Thursday evening, since I don't have Friday classes. I think I am falling in love with her but I'm going slow so I don't give my heart away too fast. That's all for now

Rhythm and peaches

So today I was able to hang out with Dustin and Jacob and Bob. We had a nice early dinner. A lemon chicken and pepper jack cheese sandwich. Then we just hung out chatting and being musicians. We went to Bob's to watch a movie. That was a trippy movie. I don't remember the name of it but it was good. My idiot neighbors finally got their just rewards for partying for three nights straight. A cop shut them down tonight and gave all the minors tickets for drinking. HA! I know that's mean but they learned their lesson. Now it's time for clash of the titans!!! I miss devin but soon enough I will see her again!

Movies and muffins

So devin just left. She was here for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. We watched movies and hung out like a real couple. We went grocery shopping and she made us dinner. She enjoyed staying with friends of mine. She is on the road headed to San Antonio. Tomorrow I get to find out how much it's gonna cost for me to get cable and Internet in my apartment. Tonight some of my friends will be in town and I'll get to see them.

EQ and hulu

So devin is coming tomorrow. I'm so excited!!! And she is gonna stay all weekend. She is staying one night here at my parents home then she is headed to levelland with me. She is gonna stay at a friends house for the weekend but I'm so excited to see her. So today was a good day. I went and EQ'd the youth rooms system. And the college group had a meeting about possible outreach plans. Then I came home and watched tv and I'm watching hulu right now. I got new glasses the other day, not much different then my other ones and tomorrow I have a dentist appointment yay!!!!!!!!!!!(not really). Anyways, I'm excited to see my wonderful gf Devin.

281 N and molten cake

So I left camp yesterday. I got home about 10ish last night. It was a long trip but very relaxing. I'm happy to be home but I also wish I was still at camp. It was hard work but a lot of fun. I got to sleep in my bed last night and I slept so well. I woke up for church and I thought I was late for work but then I remembered where I was. It was a good day at church, the paster had a strong sermon about how we can't allow what we want to over power what God wants for our church. Very much needed. Mom and dad and I went to chilis for lunch. Tonight there is a bible study thing at Djs house which I'll go to. I do miss devin but soon enough I'll get to see her. That's all for today.

Set ups and bell rings

So today I have been working with Ira. We moved our portable stairs to the tabernacle for Morgan and Kelsey's wedding tomorrow and we moved tables down there as well. I have started to break down Miles as well. So we can put the important stuff away and not worry about it until Hot Hearts. It's been a slow day but a good one. Last night we had a bell ringing ceremony acknowledging all of the professions of faith. We had over 1000 professions of faith made this summer. Either re/dedicating lives to Christ or being called to the ministry. The kingdom of the Lord has definitely grown this summer. After Kelsey and Morgans wedding I might be going home or I might go down to San Antonio for the night. Idk yet. Tonight is the rehearsal dinner for the wedding, I'll be running sound and my lovely assistant might be joining me, just dependent on what she has to do in the DH. so I'm ready to leave but yet I don't want to leave this wonderful place. Either way I'm very happy with what God has taught me and shown me and who he has put in my life this summer. The best summer of my life so far.

Last program camp and date night.

 At HLC3 the kids who got saved while at camp that week get to ring the bell on the last day and so we had that ceremony after the final worship service. There have been so many bell rings this summer. The kingdom of God has definitely grown big this summer, its so exciting!!!

After the camp left we did turnovers and those normal things. I mainly worked with Ira today and that is always fun, we definitely have wonderful conversations and I will most certainly miss those when Im not here during retreat season.  After dinner is when the real fun started. Devin and I went into Bee Cave on a date. We saw Despicable Me and went to Chic-fil-a for a while to eat, chit chat and to be goofy, it was so much fun. School starts on the 17th for her and then she will come visit me before my school starts on the 30th. I'm so thankful for all the blessings God has given me this year. i truly am blessed by a wonderful God.

I've got my exit interview tomorrow morning. I'm not worried I'm just ready to be at home for awhile, then Devin will come spend some time with me before my school starts. Please pray that all will go well with my interview (even though I'm not worried) and that i can get through these next days without killing some people.

Close to the end!

So I'm new to blogger but that's ok. So right now I am working at Highland Lakes Camp as a SMT. This summer is almost done and I'll be headed back to school. We finish on the 14th and then I'm gonna go home. Then I will be in my apartment a week from Thursday visiting friends. It has been an amazing summer and alot of people have been added to the Lord's kingdom and I have made life long friends. I'm ready to get a break and be able to sleep in for once. Lol and I have met this wonderful woman of God, Devin. I am ready to see where God takes this relationship, I'm excited. Ok I think that is all for now.
